For people who build AI skills
SkillBase keeps your skills in one library, checks them against a clear rubric, and shows which skills fire on the same request. Then you export them to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
Invite-only for now. Your library is private to your account.

What's off
Step 3 says "you MUST include every competitor". That wording was written for older AI and can make the answer stiff. Once fixed, the skill will explain why competitors matter and still cover them.
The fix
Replaces the shouting with one plain reason and keeps every step in place.
A skill in one folder, a custom GPT somewhere else, a prompt doc nobody has opened in weeks. Two of them fire on the same request. One has a trigger that never matches. Nothing shows an error. The answers just get a little worse.
1. Add
Paste a skill, upload files, or drop in a whole folder. SkillBase pulls out the name, description, trigger phrases and steps.
2. Check
Optimize explains in plain words what is off and offers a fix you accept line by line. The Trigger Tester takes a request and shows which skill would fire, and where two skills overlap.
3. Use
Export a skill when you need it, or connect your library over MCP so Claude Code can search and load your skills.
Pick the platform and download the file. You can export one skill or the whole library.
Platforms change how they store skills. Your library stays in plain SKILL.md form, so you can move it again.
Keep your best prompts next to your skills, sorted with folders and tags.
If you have two or three skills, you probably do not need this yet.
SkillBase helps at the point where "just remember what you built" stops working.
Put your skills in one place.
SkillBase is invite-only while it is in early access. Leave your email and I will get back to you.
